Is Biome worth it?

Worth a look (5.4/10). Biome is a two-capsule-a-day product built on nine bacterial strains plus plant ingredients. It does cite named research, such as trials on Lactobacillus gasseri, L. rhamnosus and a 300 mg/day Greenselect Phytosome trial, which is more than most weight supplements. But those trials tested single ingredients at their own doses, not the Biome capsule, and the capsule's own amounts are not stated on the page. The page's crossed-out bundle prices do not appear on the order form. The brand gives a Delaware address and a phone number on the page, though our earlier check found no legal company name. The 180-day refund is the strongest part of the offer. Weight-loss results quoted on the page come from trials of individual ingredients, not this product.

What we liked

  • 180-day empty-bottle refund
  • Cites named research for individual ingredients
  • Names three bacteria species

  • Brand discloses an address and phone number

What we didn't

  • Trials do not test the finished capsule
  • No per-capsule doses or CFU counts
  • Crossed-out prices not on order form
  • No 1-bottle option; entry price $167.95
  • No legal company name found

What is Biome?

Biome is a capsule taken two at a time each morning, in a delayed-release DRcaps shell. The page describes nine "lean bacteria" strains and names Lactobacillus gasseri, L. rhamnosus and L. fermentum, plus Greenselect Phytosome (a phospholipid-bound green tea extract), Sphaeranthus indicus, Garcinia mangostana and inulin, a prebiotic fiber. It is described as free of gluten, dairy, soy and nuts and made in the USA.

The sales copy cites trial results for individual ingredients (belly fat and body weight changes over 12 weeks to 90 days). These do not test the finished capsule. The brand is Lean for Good; the page footer gives a Wilmington, Delaware address and a phone number, but we found no legal company name. ClickBank handles orders and refunds.

Format: Delayed-release capsules (DRcaps), 2 per day. Sold by: Lean for Good (Wilmington, DE address on the page); sold through ClickBank vendor account leanbiome.

What is on the Biome label?

Each row compares what the label or sales page states with what published research used. When an amount is missing, there is nothing to compare, and we say so.

IngredientPer servingWhat research used
Lactobacillus gasseriCan't verifyNot statedTrials of specific L. gasseri strains report modest body-fat changes at stated CFU doses over about 12 weeksStrain designation and CFU count are not stated for the capsule, and benefit is strain-specific.
Lactobacillus rhamnosusCan't verifyNot statedWeight-related trials used specific strains over about 12 weeksStrain and CFU count are not stated.
Lactobacillus fermentumCan't verifyNot statedA trial cited on the page used a specific strain and reports small body-fat changesStrain and CFU count are not stated.
Other 'lean bacteria' strains (nine in total)Can't verifyNot statedCannot be assessedThe page says nine strains but only three species are named in our records.
Greenselect PhytosomeCan't verifyNot statedThe page cites 300 mg/day in a 90-day trialThe capsule's Greenselect amount is not stated, so it cannot be compared with the 300 mg trial dose. Green tea extracts have been linked to liver problems at high intakes.
Sphaeranthus indicusCan't verifyNot statedSmall trials exist; no established doseExtract type and amount not stated.
Garcinia mangostanaCan't verifyNot statedNo established dose for weight managementPart/extract not specified, amount not stated.
InulinCan't verifyNot statedPrebiotic fiber is typically dosed in grams per dayAmount not stated; may cause gas or bloating at higher intakes.

The page quotes dose figures from cited trials but states no per-capsule amount for any ingredient, and gives no CFU count for the bacterial strains.

Do the Biome claims hold up?

Lactobacillus gasseri reduced "8.5% of belly fat" in 12 weeks

This describes a trial of a specific L. gasseri strain, not Biome. Without the strain and CFU count you cannot tell whether the capsule matches it.

Greenselect Phytosome at 300 mg a day produced "30 lbs" loss in 90 days versus 11 lbs for diet only

This is the page's description of one trial of that ingredient. The capsule's actual amount of it is not stated, and a single trial should not be expected to repeat.

180-day "empty bottle" guarantee

Confirmed on the refund policy page and consistent with the ClickBank order form.

Crossed-out bundle prices ($398, $474)

The order form does not show these amounts, so the "discount" is not verifiable.

How much does Biome really cost?

OptionTotalPer monthShipping
2 bottles$167.95$83.98$9.95 shipping included in total
3 bottles$207$69Reported both as free and as $9.95; confirm at checkout
6 bottles$294$49Free in the US

The cheapest bundle is 2 bottles for $158 plus $9.95 shipping ($167.95). Three bottles are $207 and six bottles are $294 with free US shipping, each with a free ebook. There is no single-bottle option.

Per bottle that is $79, $69 and $49. The page does not state how many capsules a bottle holds, so we cannot give a reliable per-day cost. All are one-time payments; no subscription was found.

The 2-bottle bundle adds $9.95 shipping. The 6-bottle bundle ships free in the US. For the 3-bottle bundle the sales page text lists $9.95 while our earlier order-form check showed it free, so confirm the final total before paying. The page does not state a supply length per bottle, so the days shown are an estimate assuming 30 days a bottle (the 2-bottle days field uses 60).

Can you get a refund on Biome?

180-day window. The page and refund policy describe a 180-day "empty bottle" guarantee: a refund even if you used all the capsules. That is three times the 60-day window many supplements offer.

Step by step: find the ClickBank receipt email, look up the order at clkbank.com and ask for a refund in writing. Our ClickBank refund guide covers returns, extra offers and auto-ship.

Which red flags did we find?

  • Trials are for single ingredientsThe cited results come from studies of individual strains or extracts, not the finished capsule.
  • No per-capsule amounts or CFU countsDoses and strain designations are missing.
  • Unverifiable original pricesThe crossed-out prices have no counterpart on the order form.
  • Shipping on the 3-bottle bundle is inconsistentPage text says $9.95, our order-form check showed free.
  • No legal company nameA brand name, address and phone are given, but no registered company.

Who should buy Biome, and who should skip it?

It may suit you if

  • You want a microbiome-style capsule and are happy to rely on the 180-day refund.
  • You value seeing named ingredient trials, even knowing they do not test this exact capsule.

Skip it if

  • You want proof that this capsule works; none of the cited trials tested it.
  • You take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a liver condition or weakened immune system. Probiotics and green tea extracts need a doctor's check first.
  • You want to try one bottle only; the smallest option is 2.
